Cyberdeck 2020

This is a GM/REF for the Classic Cyberpunk 2020 powered by OpenAI's API. That is fully customiseable and ready to play. Still very much in beta, it was an experiment I set out to create a fully purpose built cyberdeck that run the application exclusively via a mini PC and a connection to the OpenAi servers. You may choose your own model to manage costs of the API and completely alter any aspect of it wish. The package comes with a very extensive README document that is vital to get the application running.

Cyberdeck 2020 is a fan-made, unofficial digital supplement created as a personal passion project inspired by the Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop roleplaying game, originally published by R. Talsorian Games Inc. This software is in no way affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by R. Talsorian Games Inc., and no content from the original books has been copied or reproduced verbatim within this application.

All game mechanics and references to the Cyberpunk 2020 system — including rules for combat, character creation, netrunning, and item descriptions — are either paraphrased summaries for the sake of compatibility or general gameplay support. Wherever the application refers to specific page numbers or mechanics (e.g., "see page 45"), it does so as a pointer to the original, legally purchased content that users are expected to own.

All images and visual content used within this application were generated via MidJourney AI and are original compositions created specifically for this software. No official artwork, logos, trademarks, or proprietary media from R. Talsorian Games Inc. have been used.

We strongly encourage all users to support the developers of Cyberpunk 2020 by purchasing the official books through your favorite RPG stockist or via DriveThruRPG. This project exists solely to enhance the experience of those who already own and love the Cyberpunk universe.

The Civitas Universe has developed this tool purely for experimental and educational use, with the hope of expanding the possibilities of AI-assisted roleplay.
